There were multiple cold fronts this January.(今年一月份出现多次寒流。)
I thought it was supposed to rain today.(我还以为今天会下雨呢。) I thought the train was supposed to arrive at 9 a.m. sharp.(我以为火车会在九点整到达 。)
请注意听“That’s what I read online this morning.” That’s what I heard on the radio. (那就是我在广播中听到的)/ That’s what I saw on TV.(那就是我在电视上看到的。) / That’s what I read online.(那就是我在网上读到的。)
I feel the wind chill. / I feel the chill. / I am freezing.(我冻得要命。) / I am cold.(我感觉冷。)
The temperature is 4 degrees, but with the wind chill it feels like -8.(气温是4度,但风寒效应使人感到像是零下8度)。
An oversupply of new houses is driving down sales prices in the area.(该地区新盖房屋供大于求,正在使房价下跌。)
